Bethesda Evangelical Mission

The construction component of the BEM ministry is an endless project.

Currently we have 12 schools most of which do not yet have a building and 35 Churches of which the majority are still without a building. The Orphanage, elderly housing, parsonage, medical clinic and many other projects are all in need of construction work, therefore if you are interested in our construction component your help will be greatly appreciated.

We are currently working to finish the 4th floor of the main school building in Les Cayes. This is a project that was started in 2002 and is yet to be complete. Because the need for education is so great we had to start classes in the unfinished building so the children of Les Cayes have a place to go to school.

The following is what we need to complete the project:

• Wall plastering
• Floor tiling
• Bathroom installation
• Door and window installation
• Yard paving
• Painting

This project has been an ongoing effort of mission trips and people with no specific skills. We believe that because of the enormous need in the area of construction, we can continue to meet our building challenges one person at a time, however if you do have construction skills, you presence will be greatly appreciated.
